Dr Poh Lee Guan
Born: 1961
Dr Poh is a senior lecturer with a private college and teaches management and related subjects for undergraduate and master programs. In total, he has more than 20 years of work experience with both foreign and local companies.
He completed his Technician Diploma from the Singapore Polytechnic in 1981 and continued to study part-time, completing a Diploma in Management Studies (Singapore Institute of Management), Bachelor of Business (RMIT University, Australia), Master of Business Administration (University of Dubuque, USA) and Doctor of Business Administration (University of Southern Queensland, Australia).
In the 2001 General Election, Dr Poh stood as Workers' Party candidate for the first time in Nee Soon East single member constituency and in the 2006 GE returned to the same SMC and improved his score. He strongly believes that constructive and responsible competition and diversity in our political system will create a more vibrant Singapore - politically, economically, and socially.
He enjoys swimming, basketball, tennis, cycling, reading, and classical music.
